A Client Has Died

Today I found out a client of mine has died. I’m feeling a lot of different things about him right now. Sera suggested processing things for awhile before writing about it and I’m taking her advice.

So why am I writing this post? Part of me just wants to make a note to myself about this day-I’m not sure why. He didn’t die today but it’s the day I discovered he had.

Interesting. It never occurred to me before that you might get attached to your clients. I suppose it is only natural, just something I had never thought about before.

*hugs* I want to hope for natural causes, but after talking to a client who was suicidal sometime within the past month or two (and ending up in hysterics by the end), I’m afraid to ask. Know that my heart is with you, though.

And I’m looking forward to seeing you next weekend!!!

    (OT: methinks maybe I need a Lily-blog…)

Gillette posted something similar about a former client who died.
