Annoying Laugh Man though is convinced we’re soulmates. He tells me he loves me and can feel that I love him. He apologizes to me because he’ll be breaking up my marriage soon. ALM has also convinced himself that my husband hates him and is on the verge of forbidding me to talk to him. My husband of course thinks this is hilarious.

I let ALM have his fantasy. His marriage is breaking up and I think this is the reason he fantasizes about breaking up mine.

For a time I was tempted to nickname him Homewrecker but Annoying Laugh Man is more appropriate. Why? ALM has the worse laugh I’ve ever heard. It just sends a chill down my back if I’m not steeled against it.

When I do calls with him I have to turn the volume down so his laugh won’t be as grating. If you turned the noise of fingernails on a blackboard into a laugh that would be his laugh. He’s been calling for awhile so I’ve grown used to it. But it still gives me a shiver if I’m caught off guard.
