Why Not The Right One?

“I’d like to pierce my left testicle for you.”
-new client who was very drunk

At the end of the call after a dozen mistresses had fisted him up to the elbow and all had used him as a toilet he said:
“That was a religious experience.”

Anti Bush Tshirts-The Settlement

Anti bush tshirts

From ABC News:
Feds Pay $80,000 Over Anti-Bush T-Shirts

“A couple arrested at a rally after refusing to cover T-shirts that bore anti-President Bush slogans settled their lawsuit against the federal government for $80,000, the American Civil Liberties Union announced Thursday.

Nicole and Jeffery Rank of Corpus Christi, Texas, were handcuffed and removed from the July 4, 2004, rally at the state Capitol, where Bush gave a speech. A judge dismissed trespassing charges against them, and an order closing the case was filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in Charleston.”

I think it’s important to follow up on news of this nature. So many times we hear of protesters getting thrown out, harassed or arrested. But we don’t often hear what happens to them months, and sometimes years, later when they take their fight to court. Kudos to Jeff and Nicole Rank for having the courage to dissent.

Breakdown Of A Quickie

Front Seat Street Rod Pin Up Poster

Today I was driving around town and got a call. It was a quickie. I was able to do it between a trip to the hardware and grocery store. This was a straight up sex call. It’s been my experience that these are shorter calls. For some reason the kinkier the fantasy-the longer the call. So what’s it like to do quickie phone sex?

2 min into call-Get to know each other-location, age, looks

5 min-Fantasy is set, we’re lovers meeting in a hotel

8 min-I’ve done a sexy strip tease, now I’m just wearing bra and panties, he’s rubbing his cock through his jeans

10 min-I’m sucking his cock and balls, then he fucks me in the ass on the hotel bed

13 min-he cums

14 min-He thanks me, tells me he needed that, promises to call again

And that was it. Afterwards, I went into the store to find my husband. We finished up, hopped in the car and drove off to the grocery store.

Interview With Deborah Jeane Palfrey, AKA The DC Madam

Deborah Jeane Palrey

I first heard of the DC Madam case in March of this year. Her client list seemed so tantalizing. Which hypocritical politicians would be exposed? Which moral majority leaders would be shown to love the very “sins” they preached against? I’ll admit when the phone records became freely available I got myself a copy. Am I searching them? Yes, but I haven’t found anything. What I did find is a story that got more troubling the more I investigated.

How would the mainstream media portray her and to an extent, the adult industry? I wanted to see coverage treating sex workers as just that-workers. I wanted to hear discussion of how politicians impose anti-sex politics on the world yet are clients themselves. I wanted to read articles about how the government seizes people’s homes and savings before even trying them in court.

However I didn’t read that type of coverage in the mainstream press. I’m disappointed with ABC and others like them. This situation has so many angles begging to be explored. A responsible media would see this and report these angles to the public.

The more I learned about Ms. Palfrey’s case the more interested I became. Yes, that juicy client list still intrigues me but there is a more sinister angle. The actions of the government in this case are very disturbing-the way the government spied on her, watched her money transactions via methods meant to watch terrorists and seized her assets.

I asked Ms. Palfrey for an interview. To my utter delight she granted my request. We talked for over an hour and I have transcribed our conversation. I also have made it available as an mp3 file.

I found Ms. Palfrey to be an excellent interviewee. She worked around my schedule and answered all of my questions. She was well spoken, compelling and feisty. She’s a fighter and is not backing down. As I said in the interview if more people stood up to the government this country wouldn’t be in the state that it is in now. It is my hope this interview inspires people to learn more about Ms. Palfrey’s situation, sex workers rights and the many troubling aspects of our political judicial system. For more information on Ms. Palfrey you can visit her website here.

Since this post is rather long I’ve created this excerpt. To listen to the interview or to read the transcript click here.

Charges Dropped In ‘Flag Fight’

Charges dropped against activists arrested over protest flag

Charges dropped in flag-desecration case
“All charges in the case of activists Mark and Deborah Kuhn, arrested on July 25 in an incident involving alleged flag desecration are being dropped, Buncombe County Sheriff Van Duncan announced this afternoon. An internal investigation of the arrests is continuing. (For the complete background, see the article “Flag Fight.”)”

What’s the background of this “Flag Flight”?
Flag fight
“The July 25 arrest of a West Asheville couple for desecrating the flag has sparked a storm of controversy, including doubts about the constitutionality of the rarely enforced state statute. The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the handling of the matter, and Sheriff Van Duncan has expressed regrets about the incident, telling Mountain Xpress that “we would normally not have handled the situation that way.”

Local activists Mark and Deborah Kuhn say a Buncombe County sheriff’s deputy invaded their home and used excessive force in responding to a complaint that the couple was desecrating an American flag. The flag, which they’d hung upside down on their porch as a protest, had several statements pinned to it, including a photo of President Bush with the words “Out Now” on it and an explanation that the upside-down flag is a traditional distress signal.”

(snip)
“This is only the third time anyone has been charged under the state’s 1917 flag-desecration law, according to Dick Ellis, public information officer for the N.C. Administrative Office of the Courts.”

So what happened after the internal investigation? Do we get to find out what went on behind the scenes and why a rarely enforced law from 1917 was used to arrest this couple? No.

Sheriff Duncan: Law prevents release of investigation, disciplinary action in flag incident
“State public-records law prevents the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office from releasing information about the results of an internal investigation into the July 25 arrests of two activists on since-dropped flag-desecration charges – or any disciplinary action taken, Sheriff Van Duncan said this afternoon.”

(snip)
“Duncan added that the department has taken corrective action “to make sure that an incident like this never happens again.”’

No Porn For Aborigines?

Australia pic

Via AVN:
Aussies Now Face Prison Time for Porn Possession
“The New Zealand Herald reports that a bill presented to the Australian Parliament Tuesday would brand anybody caught with five or more pornographic items in the aboriginal communities of the Northern Territory a “trafficker,” punishable by up to two years in prison.

Introduced to the Parliament by Indigenous Affairs Minister Mal Brough, the draft laws would prohibit the delivery of pornographic materials into the area, and charge anybody possessing the forbidden five or more items with trafficking, regardless of whether they have any intent to profit from them.”

The Guardian had a story about this a couple months ago.
Aborigines face ban on alcohol and porn
“Some Aboriginal leaders immediately attacked the plan as “disgusting and paternalistic”, saying they were not consulted and that they objected to restrictions on how indigenous people spend their welfare benefits.”
(snip)
Aboriginal leaders said it was the kind of government behaviour that disenfranchised their people and created the problems in the first place.

“I’m absolutely disgusted by this patronising government control,” said Mitch, who uses one name and is a member of a government board helping Aborigines who were taken from their parents under past assimilation laws. “And tying drinking with welfare payments is just disgusting.

“If they’re going to do that, they’re going to have to do that with every single person in Australia, not just black people.”

With a name like Little Children Are Sacred I was immediately wary of the report. Yes children should be protected. But saying that their “sacred” sounds like some religious bias snuck in. Children are not little angels walking among us.

The report listed several other factors. This article gives us some report extracts-”the cumulative effects of poor health, alcohol, drug abuse, gambling, pornography, unemployment, poor education and housing and general disempowerment lead inexorably to family and other violence and then on to s-xual abuse of men and women and, finally, of children”. Oh no! What if Johnny and Billy bet on a sporting event? Are they suddenly abusing themselves?

And why is this suddenly such a crisis? As Alan Carpenter, the West Australian Premier, so rightly points out “Howard had only declared it a national emergency after 11 years in office.”

There are several distrubing factors at play here-that owners of porn would be considered “traffickers” even if they don’t intend to sell it, that pornography is considered the cause of child abuse, the fact that the bill is only for the Aboriginal communities leaves a bad taste of racism in one’s mouth. What does the evil taint of porn only effect the “natives”?

Mind you, I’m not saying nothing should be done. But the idea that banning porn and alcohol will magically solve the problems outlined in the Little Children Are Sacred report is ridiculous.

Draconian law will jail porn ‘traffickers’
Howard bans alcohol, porn in indigenous communities
