Facebook No Longer Likes Porn

Facebook blocks porn

From AVN:
Facebook Sets Safeguards, Obscenity Blockers
“Social networking website Facebook has instituted a number of enhanced privacy safeguards and obscenity blockers.

The move on Thursday was part of an agreement with 49 state attorneys general to increase the level of protection for the site’s younger users.”

And here I thought Facebook was the adult version of Myspace.

Unfortunately, once Facebook opened itself to anybody outside of the college demographic, it pretty much stopped being the place for adults, so to speak. Then again, college students being adults is debatable (if one considers maturity or lack of it). Anyhow, point is that, as usual, parents can’t be bothered to supervise their kids online and expect the government to do their job for them.

Actually… socialkink.com is the grown-up version of Myspace (the Free Speech version).

DWB-I find it so frustrating that parents expect governments to raise their children. Seems to be par for the course these days unfortunately.

Catalina-I’ve been hearing more and more about Social Kink. I’m pretty sure they won’t become G rate anytime soon and that’s a good thing.
