Political Rap Song

Bush frown cartoon

Tonight I got off a call and went to see what Mr. Radical was doing. He said I had to watch this cool video. It’s a good political rap song up on You Tube. I liked it so I thought I’d blog about it. You can watch it yourself here.

Awesome. Doesn’t hurt that I’m rather fond of Mos Def. I found this reference on Wikipedia:

Mos [Def] and Immortal Technique released a similarly controversial song, “Bin Laden” in 2004, which blamed the Reagan Doctrine and President George W. Bush for the September 11, 2001 attacks. A club remix song, featuring Eminem, was released the following year, in 2005.

I wouldn’t have guessed the song was that old — if someone had asked me, I’d have assumed it was written after Katrina, at least. True and getting truer every day…

Liz-I hadn’t realized it was that old!
