Disgraced pastor Haggard faces more gay sex accusations
“Disgraced evangelical leader Ted Haggard’s former church disclosed Friday that the gay sex scandal that caused his downfall extends to a young male church volunteer who reported having a sexual relationship with Haggard — a revelation that comes as Haggard tries to repair his public image.”

It certainly sounds like hush money to me. I agree with Haggard that sexuality can’t simply be put into “stereotypical boxes”. But how can he really believe that since he spent many sermons condemning certain people’s sexuality? What a hypocritical asshat.
During Jesus Camp there’s a scene where Haggard turns to the camera and says “I know what you did last night”. He then goes on to joke that he wants hush money or he’ll tell the wife. As I watched the scene my pervdar picked up a closet gay vibe. I’ve talked to the type before. These guys like to dance close to the edge, jerking off to the idea of getting caught but then stepping back in time not to be.
On a side note, why does anyone still go to New Life Church?
