R.I.P. Deborah Jeane Palfrey

Deborah Jeane Palfrey

From CNN:
‘D.C. Madam’ found hanged
“Deborah Jeane Palfrey, known as the “D.C. Madam,” was found dead in Florida on Thursday, according to Tarpon Springs police.

Palfrey hanged herself in a storage shed on her mother’s property, where she had been staying, police said. Palfrey’s mother, 76-year-old Blanche Palfrey, found the body, police said.”

From the Post Chronicle:
Deborah Palfrey Ex Employee Brandy Britton Photo: Suicide Similar
“Much like the DC Madame’s former employee Brandy Britton, Deborah Jeane Palfrey has killed herself before her final sentencing.”

(snip)

“Britton was set to go to trial, but decided to hang herself instead. When Britton killed herself, Palfrey told the press: “I guess I’m made of something that Brandy Britton wasn’t made of.”"

God fuck shit piss damnit! I’m stunned, I’m upset, I’m saddened. But I just don’t buy it. Call me a conspiracy theorist if you like but I can’t believe she killed herself. When I interviewed her I heard such strength in her voice. She was a tough woman, a true fighter.

Yes, people can change. And suicidal tendencies can come on suddenly. But still I don’t buy it. The mainstream media coverage sucks, but hell I say that about most news stories. Here’s some better coverage:

From Info Wars:
DC Madam Predicted She Would Be Suicided
“DC Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey predicted she would be “suicided” on several occasions both recently and as far back as 17 years ago - comments that now appear ominous in light of the announcement that the former head of a Washington escort service allegedly killed herself today.

(snip)

“During several recent appearances on The Alex Jones Show, Palfrey also said that she was at risk of being killed and that authorities would make it look like suicide. She made it clear that she was not suicidal and if she was found dead it would be murder. ”

But what about her “friend” that said she confided her intention to kill herself? He’s not so credible it turns out.
Professional Conspiracy Debunker Claims Friendship with Deborah Jeane Palfrey
“Dan Moldea tells us he was Deborah Jeane Palfrey’s friend.”

(snip)

“However, there are problems with the testimony of Dan Moldea, problems that put his assertion about Palfrey in question.”

-Definitely worth a read.

Neatorama covered the story and the comments are interesting. I’m certainly not the only one who doubts the “official” story.

Lastly, Sex in the Public Square started an online memorial for Jeane.
“Do you have something to say in memory of Deborah Jeane Palfrey, who was harassed by anti-prostitution law enforcement and whose name is now added to the list of many who have lost their lives to the persecution of sex workers? Click here to add your thoughts in honor of her memory.”
