When a client asked if I watched a certain tv show I replied that I didn’t. When asked why not I answered that I didn’t own a television. To which he said:
“I’m sorry but that sort of freaks me out. TV is my everyday friend.”
-client
(silence)
-I was biting my lip to keep from laughing.
“How do you get your news?”
-Surprisingly I get this question a lot.
“I read.”
-me
“Oh.”
-He quickly changed the subject. I let him.
